If sales are an Olympic sport of their own then Amazon Prime Day is the big game. That’s why, when the retail giant announced this year’s Prime Day dates earlier this month, even Teen Vogue editors started to create our ideal wishlists – because who doesn’t want to save some $$$?
Of course, the online mega-retailer has been as secretive as ever when it comes to its best deals but that hasn’t stopped us from scouring the site and (preemptively) adding plenty of stuff to our carts in hopes they will get marked down. No lighting deal will escape us, mark our words!
From kitchen and content creation essentials to running shoes and beauty products, if you’re not sure what you want during the event, we’re sharing the Teen Vogue-editor-approved picks that we’re hoping to snag during Amazon Prime Day.

Who doesn’t love some good ol’ shiny teeth? I know you have to be careful with teeth whitening but every once in a while it is a must – especially with the amount of coffee I drink.
I’m constantly on the internet looking at the latest and greatest content it has to offer. As of late, I’m feeling like I want to get in on all the fun, and maybe a tripod and a ring light is the best way to take the first step? If anything, it would be great to have for re-selling clothes on depop!

I thanked my Magic Bullet blender for its service and said goodbye when I last moved because it was barely doing its job anymore. Now that we are entering summer, I am getting a hankering for smoothies again and just remembered I do not have a way to blend. Now I just gotta train my TikTok algorithm to start serving me fun recipes.
If they make these undies any less expensive, Mr. Bezos might have to start paying me but I’m definitely going to be adding these to my order because my last pack is starting to look a little worse for wear. I might go crazy this time and also get a pack in black.

As Teen Vogue‘s Commerce Editor, every year Amazon Prime Day overwhelms me to the point where I don’t want to purchase anything. This year though, I’m hoping to score some AirPods on sale because my current headphones are not it and it’s time for an upgrade.
Another thing I want to try my luck with is the smart notebook, Rocketbook. My brother loves his and I’m over searching which of my notebooks has all my “groundbreaking” ideas (and rants). I want to keep everything streamlined and this seems like the best bet since instantly connects and stores your notes, doodles, and lists in the cloud with the free smart notebook app.
Ashley Wolfgang, Audience Development Associate Manager
July marks the start of Fall marathon training season so I’m looking forward to updating my running gear this Prime Day or the alternative sales (*cough, Nike, cough*).

Naturally, I saw this girl on TikTok showing off her pair of AfterShokz and I think they would make a great gift for a friend of mine. She is a big runner and these are really cool because they don’t fully go into your ear (they project the sound through your cheekbone) so she can still enjoy her music or podcasts on her runs while staying aware of her surroundings.
This summer, I have decided to stop choosing pain and buy myself a nice food processor to help assist me with making pie dough. I have been hand-mixing the last few summers and I have decided to move on from that. I am looking for one that is small enough so I can quickly throw in things that need to be chopped and diced, and big enough to help me pulse flour for summer galettes. This KitchenAid one is super compact and comes in 13 colors. Do we think green or tangerine?

I’ve been growing out a buzz cut for over a full year now so hair care has become a priority. In an effort to keep frizz at bay – and, believe me, the frizz after a buzz cut is no joke – I started using the OLAPLEX shampoo and conditioner as part of my routine. My hairdresser recommended I use these two after getting a Keratin treatment since they are sulfate-free. However, at $28 apiece for 8.5 fl oz, it can get a little bit expensive so I’m always on the lookout for some discounts or deals.
If you are a fan of analog photography, you know things add up quickly. You have to buy your film, get your film developed (or buy the chemicals to develop them yourself at home), and also sort out scanning. And the process is cyclical. I know I’m not going to stop taking analog pics throughout the year and my 35mm film of choice has been the Kodak Portra 400 for a while now. Normally around $55 for a pack of five rolls, I wouldn’t mind a little discount to justify shooting an extra roll here and there! (And I’m also always eyeing the 120mm film counterpart.)

It’s easy to forget Amazon started as a book store, but I’ve had my eye on this award-winning title for a while. As this conversation becomes more urgent than ever, I would love to see it on sale this Prime Day.

I’m in the process of renovating my home, so I’m excited to buy furniture pieces that are stylish and multi-functional. This Better Homes sofa bed is the perfect addition to my home office for when guests come to stay the night.
